Built for work, not for show
Heavy duty and industrial driveshafts live hard lives: heavy loads, long hours, towing, vibration and abuse. Every driveshaft we build is custom, sized for the torque, speed and duty cycle of the job, so the shaft isn't the weak link.
Heavy duty trucks
- 3/4- and 1-ton pickups and diesels: Duramax, Power Stroke and Cummins trucks that tow and haul
- Two-piece shafts with center support bearings for crew cabs, long beds and dually trucks
- Fleet and work trucks: flatbeds, service bodies and vans
- Medium- and heavy-duty trucks, built in 1610, 1710, 1760, 1810, SPL170 and SPL250 series
- Upgraded u-joint series for more torque capacity than the factory shaft
Industrial & equipment driveshafts
Need a driveshaft for a piece of equipment or machinery? We build custom industrial driveshafts to your dimensions or reverse-engineer them from your existing shaft. Bring in the old one, or send measurements and photos of both ends, and we'll match it or build it stronger.
Industrial driveshafts are available in 687.50 up to 390.60, including 15C and J1200 series.
Series we build
| Line | Available series |
|---|---|
| Heavy duty | 1610, 1710, 1760, 1810, SPL170 and SPL250 |
| Industrial | 687.50 up to 390.60, including 15C and J1200 series |
| Custom & performance | 1310, 1330, GM 3R, 7260, 7290, 1350, 1410, 1480 and 1550 (see performance) |
What we need to quote it
| Info | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Length (center to center or flange face to flange face) | Every shaft is built to an exact length |
| End connections: yokes, flanges, splines | Determines u-joint series and fittings |
| Torque / horsepower and RPM | Sets tube size, wall thickness and material |
| Duty: towing, continuous running, shock loads | Heavier duty means heavier components |
| Photos of both ends, or the old shaft | Fastest way to an accurate build |
Steel, aluminum or chromoly
Most heavy duty and industrial shafts are steel for strength and value. Chromoly gives more strength for its weight where it's needed, and aluminum suits long shafts that spin fast. Compare materials →
Frequently asked questions
Do you build industrial and equipment driveshafts?
Yes. We custom build driveshafts for equipment and machinery in 687.50 up to 390.60, including 15C and J1200 series, to your dimensions or copied and upgraded from your existing shaft.
What heavy duty u-joint series do you build?
Heavy duty driveshafts are available in 1610, 1710, 1760, 1810, SPL170 and SPL250 series.
Can you copy my old driveshaft?
Yes. Bring in the old shaft, even a broken one, and we can use it as a template to build a new custom shaft, often stronger than the original.
Do you build two-piece driveshafts for heavy duty trucks?
Yes. We build custom two-piece shafts with center support bearings for crew-cab, long-bed and dually trucks, plus diesels and fleet vehicles.
What information do you need for a heavy duty driveshaft quote?
Length, the end connections (yokes, flanges, splines), torque or horsepower, RPM, how it's used, and photos of both ends. Or just bring the old shaft.
Do you serve businesses and fleets?
Yes. We build custom driveshafts for individuals, shops, fleets and businesses across the Oklahoma City metro, and ship statewide. Call (572) 568-1838.
